For generations artisans have been creating colorful items using golden grass for decorative and regular usage in the state of Odisha. Women artisans are the ones who have made sure that this centuries old art form doesn't get lost in the course of time. Different types of boxes, table mats, coasters, trays, hats remain the most popular items and depending upon the intricacy of the work, products can take up to a month to finish.

Hence Lord Ganesha is prayed before starting any new journey in life. This gorara stone carved sculpture in its grandeur depicts the lord in a sedentary position with his trunk turned towards left. The trunk turning left symbolizes moon and the cool power of ida nadi in our psychic body.
